Supernova

How long can one drawing take? This is, by far, my biggest and longest work I've ever done

Started as a sketch in my notebook, and after many layers of shading, textures and lighting, it's finally done
Took something over 12 hours

The dragon is totally random, but the work features a technique that Serafi can perform. A very powerful blast-like fire, hence the title. But I didn't want to put Serafi there so I just made some simple dragon C:
I also tried a new coloring style Made shading first then overlay'ed the color. I kinda like it, it just takes forever to paint DX

About the technique:
Usually named as supernova blast, or just nova blast. Serafi can perform this technique with her inner powers, to put it briefly it can wipe out almost anything. But being this powerful it takes most of her energy and Serafi can do it only twice, in good health condition. Third would be most likely fatal. But Serafi is still very young so her inner powers can increase.


I still might edit this, might not, but for now I let it be. I'll see how it looks like after few days X3
